My Very First Words

Happiness

Happiness is everywhere, but not everyone has the opportunity to experience the real meaning of happiness. It depends on how people are capable of finding it. However, people nowadays seem to look for something beyond what they have to fulfill their satisfaction in life. In my opinion, people are always not satisfied of what they have. They always seek for more than their current achievements.

Firstly, human's natural desire is to have more than what they already have in terms of standard of living, education and goals. Everyone is capable to find happiness, but not for permanent happiness. This is because desire is very important for someone to improve and to get a better life to fulfill their dreams. I can say that they are grateful, but still have something left to desire.

I believe that young people have high curiosity and inquiry about everything in life. When they have discovered something new and beneficial for them, then they tend to look beyond it, so this causes them to have new goals and beyond their current desire.

Third, people in the world today are very competitive and vulnerable to challenges. This is due to rapid globalisation and influence of modern technology that lead to high standard of living and higher quality of life. Therefore, people today have to put more effort to succeed in this competitive environment. That is why people tend to achieve more than what they already have in life.

In sum, people are always searching beyond what they have because of human's natural desire to seek for permanent happiness, high curiosity and inquiry in life and competitive environment provided by the world today that has influences people. I do believe that people are capable to find happiness, but not the true happiness of an individual's own goal in life.
